WHAT DOES FITNESS MEAN TO YOU?

  What is fitness? Everybody has a different definition of fitness. If you asked 5 of your friends what each of them thought fitness meant, you’d end up with 5 different answers. There may be some similarities at the core but the answers would all be different. Because fitness means different things to different people. Fitness, or the quality or state of being fit (gee thanks, Merriam-Webster!), to me is the ability to ACTIVELY participate in my life – whether it be going for a hike with my Sailor, playing with my grandbabies, mowing the grass and…
