SPICY BOURBON BBQ CHICKEN WINGS

What goes better with Fall than pumpkin? Barbecue! And Bourbon, of course. 😉

Why not mix the two?!

I mean, OF COURSE you’re already drinking some Bourbon while you’re barbecuing. Unless you’re a beer person. And then, you’re drinking beer. Duh. Nothing wrong with that. Saves you more Bourbon for your BBQ sauce!

Bourbon in your BBQ sauce?! What what!?

That’s right, my friends. Bourbon. Adds a delicious sweetness and that little something – that “je ne said quoi” that makes a BBQ sauce just that amazing.

Now, this BBQ sauce would be excellent on salmon or shrimp, too, but I chose chicken wings – the quintessential finger food! Perfect for tailgating, casual parties, or just any quick weeknight dinner at home.

Bourbon BBQ Chicken Wings

This BBQ sauce comes together in a jiffy and is super portable if you’re taking it tailgating. Just make sure you give it a good whisk to reincorporate everything before you start brushing it on the wings.

So, what are you waiting for? Be the King (or Queen) of the barbecue with these Spicy Bourbon BBQ Chicken Wings. Bourbon in your glass is optional. 🙂

  2. Season wings with salt and pepper, or as desired.

Recipe Notes

These wings are light on the spice. If you would prefer more of a kick, add more tabasco or even some cayenne pepper to the sauce.
